Job summary

True Anomaly is building the next generation of space defense. As Principal Platform Engineer, AI & Infrastructure you will set the technical direction for AI-enabled platform, guide AI and infrastructure decisions, and partner with leaders to enable scale across the organization.

You will mentor engineers, work with security and IT to meet compliance, and shape roadmaps from AI providers to CI/CD, ensuring resilient, secure systems in a hybrid work environment; onsite expectations and

Qualifications

• Extensive experience guiding platform engineering for AI and infrastructure.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with security clearance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical vision and multi-quarter AI platform roadmap.
• Take on ambiguous problems and deliver scalable platforms.
• Direct architecture across AI, infra, and data teams.
• Lead DevOps, CI/CD, and developer experience decisions.
• Evaluate AI providers and tooling to accelerate value.
• Set paved-road patterns for the platform team adoption.
• Advise on applying AI across the enterprise and functions.
• Coordinate with security professionals to meet compliance.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Stay current with AI advances and tooling.
