Comfortable handling technical aspects of credential and token management, data mapping, and configuring integration middleware or workflow tools. Ability to read and write JSON/XML, work with webhooks, etc. You do not need to be a software developer - no coding required.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate between different teams. Comfortable collaborating with software engineers, product managers, operations/support staff, and client-side technical teams. You can project-manage an implementation, keeping all parties aligned on timelines, deliverables, and expectations.

Understanding the nuances of recruiting, onboarding, payroll, compliance, etc., will help you ramp up quickly in addressing client use cases for Braintrust Nexus.

U.S.-based only. You must be physically located in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship for work visas at this time.) While the role is remote, you should be able to work U.S. business hours and occasionally adjust to client schedules as needed.
Compensation: We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes a base salary with potential performance bonuses, along with a comprehensive benefits package (health insurance, 401k, paid time off, etc.) in addition to a
substantial ownership package as well as potential performance bonus. As an AI-focused startup, Braintrust also provides opportunities for professional growth, continuous learning, and possible equity participation, aligning with the company’s success.
About Braintrust Nexus
Braintrust Nexus is Braintrust’s groundbreaking new platform for workflow automation and custom AI agents, designed to transform how companies operate. Nexus acts as an “AI general contractor” for our clients’ business processes: it analyzes and maps out all the tasks and workflows across an organization, identifies which parts can be automated or augmented with AI, and then orchestrates the building of tailored automation solutions. By integrating seamlessly with existing enterprise systems (ATS, HRIS, ERP, communication tools, etc.) and deploying bespoke AI agents, Braintrust Nexus helps companies (especially those in the staffing and HR space) eliminate inefficiencies, reduce manual workloads, and boost productivity across their operations.
The Nexus platform leverages Braintrust’s expertise in artificial intelligence and automation. It builds upon the success of
Braintrust AIR (AI Recruiter) – our AI-powered interview platform – and extends those capabilities into broader enterprise workflows. With Nexus, clients get a
holistic automation solution: a combination of software (custom workflows and AI agents) and services (the Braintrust Nexus Factory and Automation Pod teams) that deliver continuous improvement. From initial discovery (using AI-driven surveys and interviews to uncover pain points) to solution design, deployment, and ongoing support, Braintrust Nexus provides end-to-end automation as a service. Our mission is to empower organizations to refocus their people on high-value, strategic work while AI handles repetitive and time-consuming tasks. As the Lead AI-Native Technical Solutions Engineer, you will be at the forefront of bringing this mission to life for our clients, ensuring that Braintrust Nexus delivers tangible, transformative results.
