Job summary

System One seeks a Lead AI Engineer to drive AI-enabled analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives in a hybrid work model. The role partners with Product Owners and stakeholders to define metrics, build dashboards, and deliver actionable insights for executive decision-making.

The candidate will leverage AI technologies, Python and Java development, and cloud-based integrations to enable scalable analytics across complex datasets, reporting, and operational decision support.

Qualifications

11+ years of BI, Data Analytics, Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or related disciplines.
3+ years of hands-on AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or advanced analytics.
2-3+ years of recent hands-on Python development experience.
3+ years of Java development experience.
Experience across the full analytics lifecycle, from data acquisition through reporting and stakeholder consumption.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement AI-enabled analytics and reporting solutions.
Build and maintain BI dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and executive reporting.
Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and performance metrics.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
Develop Python-based solutions for AI-driven analytics and reporting workflows.
Design data integration pipelines from multiple systems and APIs.
Support AI initiatives involving ML, LLMs, and agentic AI capabilities.
Measure adoption and business outcomes through reporting frameworks.
Collaborate with engineering on cloud-based solutions and platform integrations.
Evaluate new tools and approaches for long-term AI and analytics strategies.
Present findings and insights to technical and business audiences.
