Job summary

Noon is looking for a Lead AI Engineer to scale AI infrastructure and product capabilities. You will build LLM-powered features, and define the technical direction of AI systems.

Candidates should have over 5 years experience in software engineering and 2 years of hands-on experience with machine learning models. A competitive salary of $300,000-$400,000, equity options, and best-in-class health insurance are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of designing, training, tuning and deploying ML models.
• Practical experience with NLP and LLMs.
• Experience with data pipelines.
• Knowledge of model optimizations.
• Experience building agentic AI systems.
• Ability to own systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own the training-to-inference pipeline for large code models.
• Research and fine-tune domain-specific LLMs for code generation.
• Design and optimize AI pipelines.
• Lead work on agentic systems and multi-step tool calling.
• Establish standards for model evaluation and observability.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering teams.
