Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead design and implementation of advanced AI/ML solutions for enterprise applications in Boston. You will drive model development, optimize pipelines, and integrate intelligence into production systems using Python, PyTorch, and cloud platforms.

We expect 7–10+ years in AI/ML, expertise in NLP and Generative AI, and hands-on experience with MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in AI/ML or software development.
• Expert Python and SQL programming.

Role Description:

This position involves leading the design and implementation of advanced AI and machine learning solutions for enterprise applications. The Senior AI/ML Engineer will drive model development, optimize machine learning pipelines, and integrate intelligent capabilities into production systems. Strong expertise in Python, deep learning, Generative AI, and cloud-based AI platforms is essential.

Advanced Technical Requirements:

7+ years of experience in software engineering, AI, or machine learning.

Expert-level programming skills in Python and experience with SQL.

Strong hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.

Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and statistical modeling.

Experience developing Large Language Model (LLM) applications and Generative AI solutions.

Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and embedding models.

Experience with Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.

Proficiency in AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, or Google Vertex AI.

Strong understanding of MLOps, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Experience with model optimization, monitoring, and production deployment.

Leadership & Technical Contributions:

Architect and develop scalable AI/ML solutions for complex enterprise requirements.

Lead the development, training, evaluation, and deployment of machine learning models.

Design advanced NLP, deep learning, and Generative AI applications.

Build RAG pipelines and integrate LLMs with enterprise data sources.

Establish model evaluation strategies and improve accuracy, reliability, and performance.

Develop automated ML pipelines and production deployment workflows.

Optimize model inference, scalability, and resource utilization.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction to development teams.

Collaborate with data scientists, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders.

Ensure responsible AI practices, data privacy, and model governance.

Senior-Level Experience:

7–10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related software development.

Demonstrated experience delivering production‑grade machine learning solutions.

Strong background in deep learning, NLP, and advanced predictive modeling.

Experience designing enterprise Generative AI and LLM‑based applications.

Proven ability to lead technical projects and make architecture decisions.

Experience managing end‑to‑end ML development and deployment lifecycles.

Strong communication, analytical, and technical leadership skills.

Academic Credentials & Professional Certifications:

Master's or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering with substantial relevant experience is acceptable.

Certifications such as AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate are advantageous.

Published research, patents, or contributions to open-source AI/ML projects are an added advantage.
