Career Movement is recruiting a Lead AI Engineer for a well-known global professional services firm in Downtown Los Angeles. You'd be the hands-on technical lead on their technology team, building ML and GenAI apps that make the business run better. Hybrid, 3 days onsite.

The role focuses on leading architecture and delivery of full-stack ML/GenAI solutions, mentoring engineers, and partnering with stakeholders to scope and ship production-ready AI systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software development and AI with leadership experience.
• 6+ years in machine learning, applied AI, or data science.
• Hands-on with AI model productization and systems.
• Enterprise architecture across microservices, serverless, and monoliths.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and build of full-stack ML and GenAI apps.
• Be the technical voice on AI/ML architecture and quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to scope requirements and ship solutions.
• Mentor engineers and set best practices for the team.
• Own AI applications end to end from idea to launch and support.
• Contribute to improving existing production apps.

The Role

• Lead the architecture, design, and build of full-stack ML and GenAI applications
• Be the go-to technical voice on AI/ML architecture and implementation quality
• Work with internal stakeholders and the engineering team to scope requirements and ship solutions
• Mentor engineers and set best practices for the team
• Own AI applications end to end, from first idea through launch and ongoing support
• Weigh in with leadership on maintaining and improving existing production apps

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years in software development and AI, including leading projects and architecting solutions
• 6+ years focused on machine learning, applied AI, or data science preferred
• Real experience building and productizing AI models and systems
• Enterprise architecture background across microservices, serverless, and monolithic patterns
• Strong full-stack skills in React, TypeScript, and Node.js; Vue.js a plus
• 7+ years working on agile teams
• Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field preferred
