Job summary

Karsun Solutions seeks a Lead Automation Test Engineer who is hands-on, customer-facing, and capable of driving AI-enabled test automation improvements for government projects. The role leads senior automation engineers, migrates Selenium to Playwright with AI-assisted tools, and enhances regression testing while delivering value to customers in a SAFe environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8–10 years of related experience with at least 5 years in test automation.
• Proven ability to lead automation teams and deliver customer commitments.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled testing tools.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright and API testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive a team of senior automation engineers to deliver high-quality results.
• Own delivery of customer commitments and communicate deviations promptly.
• Lead AI enablement for QA/testing by evaluating and implementing AI tools.
• Establish reusable prompt templates and AI-assisted workflows for test activities.
• Migrate Selenium automation to Playwright using AI-assisted tooling and patterns.
• Provide hands-on automation leadership across functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
