Qualifications

• Significant tenure as Head of Department on large-scale AAA features or premium episodic content.
• Proven leadership managing highly skilled creative teams.
• History advancing technology or innovative workflows in major studios.
• Expert knowledge of cinematic techniques, lighting, and color science.
• Deep practical expertise in ML/Generative AI for VFX applications.
• Understanding of ML/data pipelines and asset management in high-volume production.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement new animation methodologies focused on ML and generative-AI applications.
• Work with R&D teams prototyping AI-tool integration with standard VFX software.
• Lead complex animation projects ensuring technical and creative execution.
• Provide artistic direction aligned with the Director's vision.
• Oversee talent selection for AAA film and television projects.
• Mentor internal and external VFX teams.
