Job summary

Annapurna Labs (U.S.) Inc. in Cupertino, CA seeks a Lead Hardware Design Engineer to drive system design, validation, and integration of hardware in AWS cloud server infrastructure, including project Rainier.

You will collaborate across silicon, firmware, and software teams to enable optimized HW/SW co-design. The role requires leading end-to-end hardware development, from concept to production, with a focus on performance, reliability, and cost optimization in a fast-moving AI infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with high-speed system design and validation.
• Experience with schematic and layout tools.
• Drive ODM HW development and testing and be part of the Production flow definition team.
• Strong knowledge in electrical engineering fundamentals, power and signal integrity, and analog/digital circuits.
• Able to drive component selection and validation of electrical, mechanical components, cables.
• Experience with hardware development process and system development across full product life cycles.
• Experience using lab equipment such as bench power supplies, high-speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and thermal chambers.
• Experience with supply chain management

Responsibilities

• Lead system design, validation, and integration of hardware in the AWS fleet through its life cycle.
• Work cross-functionally with AWS monitoring teams and hardware design teams to improve quality and reliability.
• Deliver multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain high standards for performance, quality, and cost.
