Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Lead Hardware Design Engineer to drive system design, validation and integration of AWS Trainium hardware across the fleet. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve quality, reliability, and cost in a fast-paced environment, aligning with ambitious performance goals and rapid time-to-market.

The role focuses on end-to-end server hardware development lifecycle, including collaboration with silicon, firmware, and software teams, and leadership in production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-speed system design and validation.
• Experience with schematic and layout tools.
• Drive ODM hardware development and testing; participate in Production flow definition.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design, validation, and integration of hardware in AWS data centers.
• Collaborate across teams to improve quality and reliability of products in the fleet.
• Deliver multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure cost, time-to-market, and performance goals are met.
