Job summary

Rincon Research Corporation seeks an experienced Sr. Software Developer to lead an agile software team and deliver DSP-focused solutions for national security missions.

The role emphasizes C++/Python development, GitLab/Atlassian workflows, and driving containerized deployments in Kubernetes environments. The position is based in Chantilly, VA, with occasional on-site support at customer locations in the Chantilly/Dulles/Sterling area.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI security clearance ( full scope polygraph or willingness to obtain is required)
• US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Lead an Agile software development team of five+ engineers.
• Oversee implementation of Agile processes up to approximately CMMI level 3.
• Collaborate with PM, Lead Architect/Product Owner and SW Delivery Lead to set priorities.
• Contribute to development of new functionality in a containerized environment.
• Support RRC products on-site at customer locations (Chantilly/Dulles/Sterling area).
• Ensure solutions meet customer requirements and aid documentation by Systems Engineering.
