Job summary

Piasecki Aircraft Corporation seeks a Product Development Engineer to lead and execute advanced aerospace projects from concept to completion. You will plan, design, analyze, and test complex systems while ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 10–15 years of related experience required.
• Master’s degree in engineering preferred; export control compliance applies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis efforts for optimal technical approaches and risk control.
• Develop and execute project plans, test plans, assembly procedures, and validation processes.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and program management to meet project goals.
• Prepare and maintain designs, drawings, specs, and reports.
• Manage BOM progress, procurement, and milestone tracking.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and structural issues with root-cause analysis.
• Provide guidance and training to engineering staff on testing and integration.
• Ensure compliance with Piasecki Quality Management System and contractual requirements.
• Plan VTOL, VAS, casevac, and cargo handling activities and fabrication work plans.
• Release and manage high-frequency data results.
