Job summary

Doncasters in Oxford, AL is seeking a Process Engineer to act as the technical bridge between customer quality specs and our manufacturing floor. The role focuses on interpreting metallurgical specifications, managing PPAP/FAI, and maintaining part docs to ensure products meet customer expectations.

The position requires a degree in metallurgy or related field and at least 3 years in aerospace manufacturing, preferably with investment casting, metallurgy, or qualification work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience interpreting metallurgical and process specifications and qualification processes.
• Knowledge of PPAP/FAI processes and part documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret metallurgical and process specs for aerospace investment cast parts.
• Manage PPAP/FAI qualification process and maintain part documentation.
• Drive stable production yields and collaborate with process owners and quality engineers.
