Job summary

Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC is seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Provider to deliver direct patient care and provide medical and administrative leadership across inpatient and outpatient treatment settings.

You will conduct diagnostic assessments, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based care in a behavioral health environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• Current, active APRN/PA license with prescriptive privileges.
• 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Provider experience required; inpatient residential experience preferred.
• Dual licensure in Medical & Psychiatric Practice preferred.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Knowledge of EMR systems (KIPU preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supports medical/psychiatric providers with questions and escalations.
• Monitors and approves documentation for medical/psychiatric providers in market.
• Implement protocols and standardized procedures as necessary.
• Provide advanced medical and psychiatric services in line with licensure and Northpoint policies.
• Conduct health assessments, psychiatric evaluations, and medical exams.
• Medication evaluation and initiation with short-term management.
• Order and interpret lab tests related to prescriptions.
• Consult with physicians on ongoing care, maintenance and prevention.
• Case management and patient education within treatment plans.
• Document and update patient care information per policy.
• Participate in treatment planning under Medical Director guidance.
• Maintain professional boundaries and safety.
• Oversee quality assurance and compliance activities.
• Provide medical updates for utilization review and managed care coordination.
