Job summary

TeamHealth seeks an experienced facility lead advanced practice clinician to join our hospital medicine program at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, Georgia. This leadership role combines clinical practice with team development.

As the facility lead APC, you will mentor the APC team, recruit and onboard staff, and collaborate with hospital leadership to drive clinical quality and patient safety across the program.

Qualifications

• Must hold NP or PA credential with Georgia licensure or be able to obtain it.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervision experience in hospital medicine or acute care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the hospital medicine service.
• Serve as the primary APC leader for the facility.
• Assist with APC recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and retention.
• Support clinical quality, patient experience, and operational performance initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between APCs, physicians, hospital leadership, and TeamHealth.
• Participate in department meetings, committee work, and leadership discussions.
