Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Advanced Physicist to architect SDA and remote-sensing pipelines, guide technical direction, and lead multi-disciplinary teams building high-fidelity space-observation analytics.

You will shape next‑generation tools that fuse imaging physics with ML-based inference, integrate GEOINT sensors, and deploy scalable Python, C++, CUDA, HPC or cloud‑native platforms while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in remote sensing, image or signal processing, or GEOINT data exploitation.
• Experience with orbital mechanics or SDA workflows is valued.
• Experience with large-scale software incl. CUDA, HPC or cloud environments.
• Experience with ML systems for imagery processing and object detection.
• CI/CD pipelines administration using Kubernetes, Docker or Jenkins.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of radiometric and spectral models.
• Oversee imaging algorithms: super-resolution, deconvolution, low-SNR enhancement.
• Direct ML-based anomaly detection, behavior classification, and object discrimination.
• Design multi-sensor fusion pipelines using GEOINT, Radar, RF and optical data.
• Lead trajectory estimation and 3D kinematic modeling.
• Architect scalable computing solutions with Python, C++, CUDA, HPC or cloud platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and set technical roadmaps with leadership.
