Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Remote Sensing Software Engineer to architect end-to-end infrared processing systems and lead multi-disciplinary teams in space observation analytics. You will guide technical direction, integrate imaging physics with ML-based behavior inference and multi-sensor fusion, and mentor junior engineers while shaping roadmaps with client leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in remote sensing, image or signal processing, or GEOINT data exploitation.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Experience with Python or C++/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end remote sensing processing systems for infrared missions.
• Lead radiometric and spectral response model development.
• Oversee imaging algorithms including super-resolution and deconvolution.
• Direct ML-based anomaly detection, behavior classification, and object discrimination frameworks.
• Design multi-sensor fusion pipelines using Bayesian or ML methods.
• Lead trajectory estimation and 3D kinematic modeling.
