The Maryland Department of Transportation The Secretary's Office (MDOT TSO) is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead/Advanced Compensation Analyst (HR Administrator IV).
The Lead/Advanced Compensation Analyst reports to TSO’s Office of Human Resources, Strategy Team’s Classification and Compensation Manager and is responsible for conducting strategic analysis to provide planning and analytical support for MDOT and its modes on compensation policies and programs that align with MDOT goals and objectives. This position will perform advanced work in the design, management, compliance, and administration of compensation programs and activities; compensation administration and strategy; market analysis; compensation plans, including base salary, executive pay, organizational structural alignment and equity; and other related compensation work. This position leads compensation programs and administration activities and coordinates with key TSO and modal stakeholders involving feedback, communication, project and change management, and other related collaborative work organizational wide. This position provides guidance to lower level staff.
Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

This position may allow a hybrid work schedule, including telework and on-site work hours.

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Five (5) years of professional human resources work in the areas of either job analysis, job evaluation, salary/compensation administration, or human resources policy formulation.
