Job summary

CB Mining is seeking a Warehouse Backorder Analyst in Duncanville, AL. This role balances administrative duties with customer service, helping manage orders, backorders, and shipping processes across CB locations.

You will use UPS WorldShip, SIS Web, DBS, and CAT tools to process orders, quote pricing, and coordinate with vendors and the supply chain manager. Strong communication and multitasking are essential to maintain on-time delivery and excellent service.

• Perform all phases of parts and stockroom duties with minimal supervision.

• Enter Stock Transfer orders
• Ship orders to customers and other branches
• Utilize UPS WorldShip and freight sources to ship freight
• Quote and place customer orders
• Confirm pricing for customer orders
• Enter outside P.O.'s for vendor/factory parts
• Source customer parts
• Use CAT tools to troubleshoot customer issues
• Troubleshoot customer parts issues
• Assist supply chain manager in quoting, ordering, and expediting parts
• Ensure safety, ethics and all company policies are followed
• Create and manage work orders for repair and return and service exchange orders
• Use DBS, SIS Web, service manuals, parts books, etc. to find information
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

CB Mining is an independent family-owned corporation that is growing. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Washington, PA, CB Mining focuses on product support for Longwall mines. Established from part of the Caterpillar mining group, CB Mining has grown from 2 locations in Washington, PA to now 4 locations, with additions in Marion, IL and Tuscaloosa, AL, We provide customers with rebuild services, CST gearbox rebuilds, welding and fabrications services, service exchange units, custom made cabling solutions, life cycle services including oil sampling and vibration analysis, robust inventory support, compatibility services and underground technical support. We also provide extensive machining, chroming, laser cladding, and hydraulic repairs through our valued partner Cleveland Brothers. Position Summary

This position will require flexibility and will have responsibility for completing warehouse tasks, some customer service tasks, and backorder analyst duties as assigned. Responsibilities include assisting in all phases of shipping and receiving. This includes some delivery of items to our local customers as required. You will also be interacting with our valued customers to enter and update them on their orders. The ability to provide excellent customer service and build trusting relationships with our customers is paramount. Communication with our growing list of vendors is also required for procurement and management of backorders. This position is 70% Administrative

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of parts and stockroom duties with minimal supervision.
• Pull parts orders
• Put stock away.
• Process parts returns.
• Enter Stock Transfer orders
• Ship orders to customers and other branches
• Utilize UPS WorldShip, truck freight websites, and freight brokerage contacts to ship freight
• Quote and place customer orders
• Confirm pricing for customer orders
• Enter outside P.O.'s for vendor / factory direct parts
• Source customer parts
• Use CAT tools to troubleshoot customer issues (parts viz, SIS, etc.)
• Troubleshoot customer parts issues - no part number etc.
• Assist supply chain manager in quoting, ordering, and expediting parts as required
• Ensure safety, ethics and all company policies are followed without fail
• Create and manage work orders for repair and return and service exchange orders
• Utilization of personal computers as well as literature sources such as DBS, SIS Web, service manuals, parts books, service warranty guides, etc; to find information on invoices, work orders, parts availability, repair procedures, flat rate pricing, product repair history, components under warranty coverage, and other similar information
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned
