Job summary

Peterbilt Motors Company is seeking a Control System Owner (CSO) for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to lead ECU-level requirements and validation for ADAS control systems across Kenworth and Peterbilt platforms.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and 7+ years of experience. You will manage supplier engagement, define verification strategies, and drive releases that meet performance, safety, and cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• 7+ years of experience in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable owner for the assigned ADAS ECU/control system, including hardware, base software, and diagnostics.
• Lead ECU validation through DVP&R planning, HIL, and on-vehicle testing with suppliers and validation teams.
• Coordinate with System Owners, EE Architecture, and manufacturing to ensure alignment and release readiness.
