Community Hospital of San Bernardino is seeking an RN LPS Intake Coordinator to lead psychiatric assessments for patients entering the Psych Acute Adult unit. You will apply your licensure to determine appropriate levels of care and collaborate with staff psychiatrists.

In a fast-paced setting, you will ensure compliance with California guidelines, drive quality improvement initiatives, and support crisis intervention and outreach activities to the community.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of two (2) years acute psychiatric nursing experience.
• California RN license (RN-CA) required.
• BLS certification required.
• LPS designation required within 90 days of hire.
• Community Liaison program required within 90 days of hire.
• Non-violent crisis intervention program required within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive initial psychiatric assessments to determine appropriate levels of care for incoming patients.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to plan treatment and crisis intervention.
• Oversee departmental outreach initiatives to improve community engagement and adherence to mental health policy standards.
• Ensure full compliance with California Department of Consumer Affairs guidelines and hospital nursing policies.
• Contribute to departmental strategic goals, quality improvement projects, and internal processes.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to credentialing standards.
