Job summary

Defense Finance and Accounting Service is seeking candidates through the Subject Matter Expert Panel Assessment to evaluate applicants for federal positions. A year of specialized experience at the GS-7/GS-8 level is required, with demonstrated ability to maintain ledgers and advise customers.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade in the federal service (GS-07 for GS-08).
• Specialized experience includes maintaining ledgers, reconciliations, and analysis of accounting information.
• Experience with accounting and financial automated systems.
• Ability to provide professional advice and information to customers and co-workers.
