Job description
THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to lead strategic account management for select high-profile North American customers in the semiconductor industry, with a primary focus on FOUPs, FOSBs, Reticle Pods, and Advanced Packaging. This role also includes a secondary focus on supporting other Entegris Business Units.

This is a remote position, ideally based in a central US location (AZ, TX, ID & UT preferred) to effectively cover key customers across the Central and Western regions of North America.

The Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Driving product qualification and ramp management
  • Providing sustaining support to maintain and grow market share
  • Achieving revenue goals through strategic customer engagement and solution delivery

This role is critical to strengthening the strategic partnership between Entegris and key North American customers. The Account Manager will be expected to deepen customer relationships, foster greater customer intimacy, and effectively communicate Entegris' comprehensive value as a trusted and innovative partner.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Interpret and communicate customer business and technology roadmaps to guide internal teams in enhancing product quality, securing top supplier status, and optimizing revenue, margin, and market share.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, product adoption, and key technology engagements.
  • Oversee customer projects and evaluations, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Meet revenue targets while fostering long-term, value-driven relationships with strategic accounts.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across all customer levels to identify initiatives, define needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Engage effectively with executive leadership, procurement, engineering, and process development teams to maximize mutual value.
  • Maintain cross-functional alignment by communicating customer insights, opportunities, and market trends internally.
  • Lead and coordinate with Product Management, Field Application Engineering, and Manufacturing to support new product introductions and defend existing market share.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leverage broad semiconductor process knowledge to identify and pursue strategic opportunities across North American customer accounts.
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of Entegris products and applications to effectively support customer needs and drive solution-based engagements.
WHAT WE SEEK
  • BS, technical background preferred (e.g., BS in Mechanical Engineering, BS in Chemical Engineering)
  • MBA or business degree a plus to make the complex business decisions required for the organization
  • Prior experience of employment at a semiconductor IDM or process tool maker a plus
  • Experience of price negotiation/competition analysis
  • P&L knowledge as it applies to key account global management (i.e., team cost as a % of revenue, samples, training, key account overall margin)
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating within virtual/remote teams
  • Proven success in a technical, sales, marketing and/or field applications role
  • Thorough market knowledge of the semiconductor manufacturing and services sector
  • Strategic application wins driven through thorough understanding of the inflections driving semiconductor device transitions and the impact to process equipment
  • Sustained revenue growth in the account above customer revenue growth
  • Customer relationship enhancement measured by depth of reach within the organization, as well as executive high touch engagement
  • Forecast accuracy

  • Excellent written and oral communications in English
