Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior accessibility leader to define strategy and oversee governance, ensuring accessible products across the customer journey. The role partners with design, engineering, research, product, and legal to embed accessibility into every layer of development.

You will run audits, establish standards for screen readers and keyboard interactions, and mentor teams to build inclusive experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading accessibility or inclusive-design work across multiple teams, products, or platforms.
• Deep expertise with WCAG, assistive technologies, and platform-specific standards.
• Experience embedding accessibility into design systems, reusable components, and engineering workflows.
• Experience working with disabled people and translating experiences into product decisions.
• Ability to set strategy and collaborate with engineers through implementation.
• Ability to influence across disciplines without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define accessibility strategy, roadmap, governance, priorities, and progress measures.
• Design and ship accessible experiences while addressing systemic barriers across journeys.
• Integrate accessibility into the design system with inclusive components and guardrails.
• Lead usability studies and assistive-technology testing with disabled users.
• Partner with product, legal, and compliance on enterprise readiness and documentation.
• Grow accessibility capability through training and a network of champions.
