Job summary

A security solutions provider in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an Access Control Installer Technician to install, maintain, and repair access control systems. Qualifications

• Some networking experience will be needed for setting up these systems.
• Good technical knowledge and experience in electronic access control systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Be able to complete and pass a level 2 background check and medical screening.
• Work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable lifting at least fifty pounds, and work safely while on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain access control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning access control equipment.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and update systems as necessary.
• Ensure the proper functioning of biometric scanners, card readers, and electronic locks.
• Implement and program access control software.
• Work with clients to customize security settings and access privileges.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Train clients and end-users on the operation of access control systems.
