Qualifications

• 5+ years automotive repair experience; 10+ years preferred.
• A-Level diagnostic and advanced troubleshooting ability.
• Experience independently completing major mechanical repairs.
• Proven ability to reliably produce 45+ flagged hours per week.
• Experience working in a flat-rate, production-based environment.
• BMW/Mercedes-Benz/Audi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine removal, replacement, and major mechanical repairs
• Complete timing chain repairs and internal engine work
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns
• Identify root causes through accurate automotive diagnostics

Pay Rate: $40-$55 per flagged hour
Pay Type: Flat Rate + Production Bonus

The shop is seeking a Lead A-Level Automotive Technician in Sarasota, FL who wants steady volume, advanced repair work, and a pay plan that rewards production.

This is a high-volume, flat-rate environment for an accomplished technician who can reliably produce 45+ flagged hours per week while handling advanced diagnostics and major mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engine removal, replacement, and major mechanical repairs
• Complete timing chain repairs and internal engine work
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns
• Identify root causes through accurate automotive diagnostics
• Complete advanced repairs independently
• Maintain 45+ flagged hours per week while delivering quality work
