Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a proactive Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development in a high-mix, low-volume environment. You will optimize workflows, program 5-axis CNC machines, and implement automation to boost flexibility and throughput.

The role blends design collaboration with continuous improvement, applying lean and Six Sigma methodologies, CAD/CAM tooling, and rigorous documentation to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across production lines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
Strong 5-axis CNC programming and automation integration experience.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes for a wide variety of complex parts.
Program and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC machines using MasterCam.
Design and implement automation to enhance throughput and flexibility.
Collaborate with design, production, and automation teams to resolve challenges.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (lean and Six Sigma).
Document machining processes, programs, and automation workflows.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
