Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a 5-Axis CNC Programmer to join a leading aerospace and satellite communications company located 100% onsite in Western Texas. You will program, set up, operate, and optimize multi-axis machining centers to produce high-precision aerospace components.

Qualifications

2-5+ years of experience programming and operating 5-axis CNC machines.
Strong knowledge of G-code, tooling, feeds and speeds, and setup procedures.
Experience with engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC machining centers for aerospace components.
Create and optimize CNC programs; validate toolpaths and strategies.
Interpret GD&T specs, blueprints, and technical documents.
Perform tooling, fixturing, offsets, and material verification during setup.
Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections with precision instruments.
Troubleshoot tool wear, chatter, offsets, and process issues; improve cycles.
