Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee inventory, assign tasks, coach staff, and ensure accurate orders. You will use SAP and WMS tools, manage safety and customer service, and support warehouse leadership.

The role requires at least 2 years in warehousing, supervisory experience, and the ability to work a fast-paced environment with overtime flexibility.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Minimum 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with WMS and handheld scanners.
• High school diploma or equivalent (desirable).
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Inventory control and cycle counting experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and ensure timely order completion.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach warehouse staff and provide development opportunities.

• Establish and promote exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Properly train and coach the warehouse team and provide positive developmental opportunities; recommend performance improvement actions as needed.
• Correctly utilize warehouse management system and maintain appropriate work documents.
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service.
• Correctly interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate various equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and/or supplies.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 50 lb. frequently and >75 lb. occasionally.
• Operating a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23+ feet.
• Carrying objects 3–5 ft. weighing up to 50 lb. routinely.
• Standing for prolonged periods of >4 hours.
• Walking continuously for more than 10,000 steps (about 4–5 miles) per day.
• Bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing and pulling objects of various shapes and sizes in team lift.
• Tolerating hot and cold work environments.
