Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a team leader in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years working in production manufacturing is a must.
• Extensive knowledge of commonly‑used concepts, practices, and procedures within the manufacturing environment.
• Ability to prioritize workflow and organize diverse material and ability to perform effectively without supervision and within established time limits and ongoing deadlines.
• Bilingual is Spanish and English is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight production from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Set up, calibrate, and run production machines; report downtime and perform sanitation.
• Motivate and train team members; assign tasks with clear direction and procedures.
• Verify quality checks and ensure inventory accuracy; pull samples for testing.

Description

We are currently looking for a Production Team Lead for our overnight shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The Team Leader will be a hands‑on position and responsible for daily manufacturing of sauce. Responsibilities include:

• CIP, set-up and execution of production machines; ensure equipment is tested and calibrated each day; report downtime and perform sanitation;
• Motivating and training members of the team to harness potential and work harder for execution of products; assigning tasks to team members with training, giving specific direction, with process and procedures to follow in carrying out tasks. Guide team members in ensuring production, quality and quantity requirements are met.
• Verify quality checks, ensuring proper numbers are being used for consumption to ensure inventory accuracy; pull samples when requested by Product Development and Compliance to test product integrity to meet specifications;
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality guidelines; following all GMP’s and wearing all required PPE
• Responsible for daily sanitation of production lines, batching stations and equipment. Ensuring food safety compliance by completing EOD checklist.
• Physical Requirements: the ability to speak, read and write the English language; regularly required to sit and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms; required to stand, walk, and drive or ride in a motor vehicle. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.; able to work extended shifts and weekends as needed.
• Workday is starting 7:00 PM till 7:00 AM, 12 hour work day, Monday through Thursday. FYI, Fridays may be utilized for backlog, development or leadership trainings.
