Job summary

Triumph Airborne Structures is seeking a Lead for the 2nd shift to oversee aircraft maintenance, ensure compliance with approved data, and mentor a team of technicians. The role emphasizes quality control, adherence to manuals, and proper disposition of aging materials.

You will coordinate with supervision and ensure safe, compliant workmanship across the shift. This position requires strong aviation maintenance expertise and the ability to oversee approximately 10 technicians, ensuring work

Qualifications

• Ensure personnel under direct oversight perform maintenance in accordance with approved data.
• Coach & mentor employees on proper maintenance techniques and procedures.
• Communicate needs to supervisor/manager.
• Process maintenance forms and authorize by signature and date after work is completed.
• Be familiar with Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals.
• Notify the Director of Quality Assurance of suspected un-airworthy conditions.
• Assure all parts received from stock are properly identified.
• In case of shelf-life material, assure they are not expired; if outdated, present for nonconforming disposition.
• Accomplish work per aircraft standards, manufacturer data, FAA data, industry standards, or standard shop practices.
• Oversees maintenance practices for approximately 10 technicians max.

The primary focus of this role is product integrity and regulatory compliance on 2nd shift.

This is a working level position that requires a high level of aviation maintenance expertise and is directly responsible for the maintenance, workmanship and training under his/her direct oversight.

Qualifications:

• Ensure personnel under his/her direct oversight perform maintenance in accordance with approved data
• Coach & mentor employees on proper maintenance techniques and procedures.
• Communicate the needs to supervisor/manager.
• Process maintenance forms and authorize by signature and date after work is completed.
• Be familiar with the contents and procedures described in the Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals.
• Notify the Director of Quality Assurance of suspected un-airworthy conditions found during the performance of his/her duties.
• Assure all parts received from stock are properly identified.
• In the case of shelf-life material, assure they are not expired. If material is outdated, assure outdated materials are presented to his/her production lead and/or inspector for identification as nonconforming and for proper disposition.
• Accomplish his/her work in accordance with proper aircraft standards, manufacturer’s approved data, FAA approved/accepted data, industry standards, or standard shop practices.
