Job summary

One Of Us is seeking an experienced 2D DFX Supervisor to lead the compositing team and ensure delivery that aligns with the VFX Supervisor’s vision. You will oversee lookdev, perform technical checks, and coordinate across departments to maintain visual and technical consistency.

You will mentor mid-level artists, review shots for quality, and drive on-time, client-ready deliveries while fostering a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Nuke knowledge and comp supervision experience.
• Strong eye for photorealism, integration, and image balance.
• Experience leading compositing on multiple high-end shows.
• Excellent communicator with mentorship ability.
• 10+ years in VFX or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compositing delivery across shots and sequences.
• Lead 2D delivery and mentor team of artists.
• Establish comp lookdev templates and reference setups.
• Perform tech checks on plates, mattes, and final renders.
• Coordinate with lighting, FX, DMP, and roto/prep for integration.
• Identify and resolve workflow, render, or integration issues.
• Provide guidance and feedback to leads and seniors.
• Ensure shots are finaled, QC’d, and client-ready.
• Bridge communication between comp and downstream departments.
