Job summary

The Learning Experience - Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to join our 2-year-old classroom. You will create a welcoming, engaging space where children learn through play and exploration, while supporting their emotional and academic growth.

Responsibilities include implementing the LEAP Curriculum, collaborating with daycare staff and families, communicating progress via apps and discussions, and helping with potty training.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional childcare experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or CDA is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; comply with Missouri licensing requirements.

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement our LEAP Curriculum®, for infants, toddlers, or preschool children as appropriate.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents through apps and personal discussions.
• Partner with staff to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers in a dynamic learning environment.
• Assist with potty training.
