Qualifications

• Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or accredited nursing program.
• Currently licensed or registered to practice as required by state law.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Direct care according to safety, risk management, QI, and infection control standards to discharge patients appropriately.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within prescribed medical regimes.
• Fulfill HICS responsibilities during emergencies and disasters.
• Know hospital emergency codes and follow policies for each code.
