Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking experienced LDAR monitoring technicians and taggers for a full‑time, on‑site role in Port Neches, TX. You will perform tagging, monitoring, documentation, and safety tasks under the LDAR program, following site SOPs and training requirements.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, pass background checks, and obtain TWIC/OSHA credentials as needed. Work in a team environment across Operations, adhering to safety standards and continuous training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Regulatory/LDAR experience a plus.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Identify components on P&IDs and tag equipment as required by SOP.
• Calibrate and document monitoring equipment and results.
• Perform tagging and monitoring tasks safely within scope of LDAR program.
• Assist Operations and other teams as needed.

We are seeking experienced LDAR Monitoring techs and taggers in the Port Neches, TX area.

Successful candidates perform specific tasks related to Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties as assigned:

Tagging

• Identify components on P&ID’s
• Flag streams in field
• Hang tags on affected equipment as required by site SOP
• Document all required information while tagging and utilize appropriate abbreviations using datalogger or tablet
• QA\QC following SOP
• Perform all tasks safely

Monitoring

• Properly calibrates and maintains all monitoring equipment
• Properly document calibrations, certifications, or other analyzer related information
• Ability to read and understand use of electronic dataloggers
• Properly execute Method 21
• Properly document all pertinent monitoring information
• Properly tag leaks or delay of repair components
• Uses stop work obligation when necessary
• Prepares, attends, and advances in all required training programs.
• Assist others within (and occasionally outside) Operations Department as assigned or needed

Requirements

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50lbs
• Not blacklisted from facilities or in DISA
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass hair follicle and background screening
• Ability to read, understand, and pass safety training courses
• Able to acquire a TWIC and OSHA card

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience and training
• Regulatory experience is a plus

Schedule

• 4-10 day shift as well as an upcoming project with 6-10 day work schedule, Overtime after 40 hrs.
• May need to work an occasional weekend depending on workload deadlines.
