Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a LDAR-focused field technician to support environmental compliance across oil and gas facilities in the Uinta basin. The role emphasizes OGI/AVO surveys, leak quantification, and rapid coordination with maintenance for repairs.

The position requires 2+ years of LDAR experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred), and an OGI Thermographers Certification is a plus. Expect field-heavy work with some office duties and periodic travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of LDAR or oil and gas upstream production experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• OGI Thermographers Certification preferred.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with Operations and Production teams.
• Ability to be on call at night.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct LDAR surveys at oil and gas production facilities to support environmental compliance.
• Perform OGI and AVO surveys focusing on compliant emissions.
• Coordinate first-attempt repairs and with maintenance for complex repairs.
• Quantify leaks using multiple measurement technologies.
• Maintain equipment/component inventories and update as needed.
• Analyze survey data to identify trends and prioritize repairs.
• Prepare detailed reports for regulatory audits and inspections.
• Utilize mobile apps and dashboards to enter data and track workflows.
