Job summary

Onterris, Inc. seeks an LDAR Field Technician for field inspections of oil and gas facilities to identify hydrocarbon leaks. The role includes data collection, reporting, and equipment calibration, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, 12-hour daytime shifts, and experience in the oil and gas industry. Associates or Bachelors in engineering tech or related fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oil and Gas industry (preference for natural gas processing/transmission).
• Effective computer skills (Excel and Microsoft Office).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days only).
• Valid driver's license.
• Associate or bachelor’s in engineering technology or related field preferred; related field experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities to identify and quantify hydrocarbon leaks and vents.
• Assist in coordinating access to facilities using maps and GPS.
• Calibrate and maintain field equipment and detection devices.
• Collect and record emission data and prepare field reports.
• Work under supervision of Team Lead and follow safety protocols.
