Job summary

Onterris Payroll, LLC seeks a Field Project Manager to lead a field team, drive training for career development and uphold site safety with required certifications.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Oil and Gas industry, with preference for natural gas processing or transmission facilities.
  • LDAR hardware and tools knowledge and hands-on capability.
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office; comfortable with Android OS.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days only) and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Engineering technology or technical degree preferred; related field experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day field compliance with the LDAR and safety programs.
  • Promote a positive work/team environment and conduct toolbox talks.
  • Manage PPE, supplies, and equipment and assist field personnel with requirements.
  • Document calibrations, test drift checks, and prepare field reports.
  • Lead a field team and participate in trainings for career development.
  • Ensure site certifications are maintained and report as required.

A Day in the Life

As a Field Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a field team, participate in and lead trainings for career development, maintain site safety and required site certifications. The compensation range for this role is $28 to $32/hr. commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of field compliance regarding the LDAR program and safety program.
  • Promote a positive work/team environment
  • Lead weekly safety toolbox talks
  • Manage and maintain use all required PPE, supplies and equipment and assist Field personnel with requirements
  • Manage, perform and review documentation of calibrations/calibration-precision/response time tests/drift checks of monitoring instrument
  • Preparing field reports as required
Your Expertise and Skills

  • Experience in Oil and Gas industry (preference given to candidates with natural gas processing/transmission facility experience)
  • Intermediate knowledge in LDAR related hardware and tools
  • Effective computer skills (Excel and Microsoft Office are essential) and proficiency with Android OS
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days only)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Preference will be given to candidates with an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology or applicable technical degree/diploma; related work experience in hydrocarbon detection and measurement, LDAR, instrumentation or stack emission testing or a mechanical background are also preferred
  • Experience leading a team.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk and/or stand while handling/carrying various technical equipment for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable occasionally working at heights in a safe manner
  • Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
  • Comfortable working outside in all-weather elementsAbility to climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to pass a fit test for a respirator
  • Standby and on-call duty may be required, and the individual must be able to respond to the facility within one hour.
