Job summary

PEMEX Deer Park is seeking an Environmental Specialist II to manage the LDAR and fugitive emissions programs. You will serve as the primary liaison among Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, and contractors to ensure compliance with federal, state, permit, and site requirements.

You will support BWON and CWT sampling, investigations, audits, and lead regulatory inspections while maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of refinery, petrochemical, environmental compliance, process engineering, operations, or related experience.
• Experience managing contractors and coordinating cross-functional compliance activities.
• Strong technical writing, data management, and regulatory reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and environmental compliance databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee refinery LDAR program day-to-day.
• Manage fugitive emissions contractors and contract administration.
• Maintain LDAR databases and software (SkyBridge).
• Coordinate leak monitoring activities and regulatory reporting.
• Lead or support BWON and CWT compliance activities, investigations, and audits.
• Support regulatory inspections and environmental audits.
