Gloucester Township Public Schools in Gloucester Township, New Jersey, seeks a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC) for an interim, part-time role at Ann Mullen Middle School. The LDTC will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, translate assessment data into instructional plans, design instructional strategies, and support classroom teachers.

Salary is a long-term substitute rate of $220 per day, with an additional $25 after 20 days of service; terms are negotiated with the

Competenze

Master’s Degree in education or Learning Disabilities from an institution approved by the state department of education.
Three years of successful classroom teaching experience.
Holds or is eligible for an LDTC Certificate.

Mansioni

Facilitates the development of increased competency of the instructional staff by: (1) designing instructional strategies; and (2) providing individual or group in-service experiences.
Serves as educational consultant to teachers in the translation of assessment data into instructional strategies, the implementation of the educational plan, the selection and use of materials and methods, the educational management of the student as a class member, and the evaluation of the instructional plan.
Makes educational assessments to determine the learning characteristics of students.
Develops individualized instructional guides which translate assessment data into instructional methods.
Prepares and submits required reports such as screening reports and learning evaluations.
