Job description

LD Supervisor

An LD Supervisor completes various management, organization and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse's storage and shipment processes.

Responsibilities
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse to meet customer demand.
  • Audit and report inventory
  • Ensure that all local and state laws are followed and enforced as pertaining to the sale and handling of alcohol.
  • Follow company procedures regarding receiving merchandise, obtaining credit on damaged or mislabeled items, and following inventory control procedures. Properly maintain purchase logs, submit all invoices in a timely manner and ensure proper cost is charged.
  • Communicate with vendors, customers and buyer.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, picking, stocking, staging, operates company vehicle for transportation of goods.
  • Stock product in designated location and pull correct quantities to fulfill customer orders.
  • Load van in an organized fashion according to delivery locations.
  • Monitor all aspects of daily operations to provide a safe and orderly working environment.
  • Maintains facility safety, security, storage, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Coach and manage warehouse employees.
  • Maintain maintenance of company vehicle(s) to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Ensure all new employees are properly trained according to company expectations and understand the duties they are expected to perform.
  • Establish new and maintain relationships with on-premises accounts
  • Abides by all transit laws and maintains a safe driving record
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long period of times.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work in warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, climb, and lift 50+ pounds during work shift.
