Job summary

NHS Grampian North Aberdeenshire Learning Disability Team is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced physiotherapist to deliver person-centred interventions to adults with learning disabilities in community settings across North Aberdeenshire.

You will join a well established multidisciplinary LD team, supported by a pan-Grampian network of physiotherapists, overseen by a MH&LD Physio Lead, with colleagues from Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, nursing, psychology and social work.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and experienced physiotherapist.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary community teams.
• Holistic approach to care for adults with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred physiotherapy interventions to adults with learning disabilities in community settings.
• Collaborate with a wide MDT including SLT, OT, nurses, dietetics, psychology and social workers.
• Support maintenance of functional skills and overall health for clients.
