Job summary

Geisinger seeks a licensed mental health professional to assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, family, couple and group psychotherapy as clinically appropriate.

Qualifications

• Assesses biopsychosocial needs and develops treatment plans.
• Delivers individual, family, couple and group psychotherapy as clinically appropriate.
• Coordinates with psychiatry and broader care teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates ongoing biopsychosocial needs to tailor treatment plans.
• Provides psychotherapies and case management for assigned patients.
• Engages as primary or co-therapist in group therapy for psychiatric patients and in individual/family/couple therapy.
• Obtains pertinent data per program and regulatory standards.
• Upholds agency policies and ethical standards.
• Collaborates with outpatient and inpatient teams for triage and crisis intervention.
