Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an LCSW Social Worker in Lawrence, MA for a 13-week assignment. Shifts are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, start 10/26/2026, pay rate $1,600.00–$2,500.00 per week.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessment, counseling, care coordination, discharge planning and resource referrals. Eligible candidates hold MA LCSW or LICSW, BLS, and at least two years of acute care medical social work experience (not in psych).

• MA LCSW or LICSW required
• BLS certification required
• 2 years acute care medical social worker experience (not psych or behavioral health)

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessment and counseling
• Coordinate care and discharge planning
• Refer resources to patients and families
• Assist patients and families with navigating medical, emotional, social, and financial challenges during hospitalization and continuum of care
