Optum is recruiting a remote Behavioral Health Utilization Review Specialist to support case management for behavioral health and substance use. You will review cases, determine levels of care, and coordinate transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers remote work with AZ residency and reliable internet; occasional weekend or holiday on-call may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with utilization review as a primary job function.
• Active independent AZ license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC).
• 2+ years of behavioral health experience.
• AZ residency and reliable internet.

Join Optum/UnitedHealth Group to support behavioral health and substance abuse case management through utilization reviews and care coordination. While not a member facing role, you'll help ensure they receive the right level of care at the right time. This is a fully remote position with a Monday-Friday schedule during standard business hours. There may be a need for occasional weekend or holiday on call availability based on business need.
