Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completes patient assessment, reassessment and treatment plans as clinically indicated.
• Assess risk and safety factors and recommend next steps in treatment.
• Provide counseling, individual sessions, groups, bereavement and crisis interventions as needed.
• Complete required documentation per compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues and psychiatric staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Develop patient-focused treatment plans and coordinate disposition or referrals.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and timely referrals.
• Apply evidence-based therapies and modalities in practice.
• Communicate with insurers to justify treatment and obtain approvals.
• Attend required department, patient and family meetings.
