Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) seeks an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples using EPA methods, following SOPs and QA programs. The role may involve standing for long periods and handling organic solvents and lab equipment.

You will perform routine tasks, analyze data, maintain instruments, and keep training and QC records up to date, contributing to accurate reporting and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab experience may substitute for degree.
• EPA method D1633, 537.1 or 533 experience would be beneficial.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and SOPs.
• Perform chemical analysis and evaluate data.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences to supervisor.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and QC tasks.
• Document NCMs and manage workload with backlog reports.
