Job summary

Onterris is seeking a full-time Analyst (Analytical Chemist) in our El Dorado Hills, CA Laboratory to operate GC-LCMS instruments, deliver QC/QA-compliant reports, and ensure every result is reliable, on time and impactful.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of LC-MS/GC-MS experience with strong attention to detail. Occasional weekend work and a flexible schedule are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating LC-MS and/or GC-MS.
• Knowledge of analytical methods, analytical instruments, lab practices and safety.

Responsibilities

• Quantitative sample analysis and data interpretation.
• Maintain organized records of analysis and equipment maintenance.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot LC-MS/GC-MS instruments.
• Ensure QC/QA compliance and timely reporting.
• Assist group lead to improve quality and efficiency of analyses.
