Doral Health & Wellness – HCBS Program is expanding our team of Licensed Creative Arts Therapists (LCATs) to support home and community-based services for children and youth in NYC, Long Island, and Hudson Valley. The role offers $75 per hour paid weekly and flexible, fee-for-service opportunities as a 1099 independent contractor.

Qualifications

• New York State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT).
• Experience working with children, adolescents or youth.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, creative and patient-centered approach.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized creative arts therapy services to children and youth enrolled in our HCBS program.
• Use art, dance/movement, drama, and other creative techniques to encourage emotional expression and growth.
• Support children with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and medically complex needs.
• Develop individualized therapeutic interventions aligned with each child's goals and treatment plan.
• Help children strengthen coping skills, communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
