The role requires a Master’s level professional with independent LCAS licensure in NC and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional health setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s level education completed.
• Independent LCAS licensure in NC required.
• Substance use certification (CADC/CAADC) or in progress within 2 years.
• Experience in clinical counselor roles preferred.
• Supervision by certified supervisor if uncertified.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis stabilization, intakes and ongoing evaluations.
• Collaborate with medical, psychiatry and community teams.
• Coordinate care and discharge planning with interdisciplinary staff.
• Document thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Support treatment planning and program goals.
